Hi, I’m Denise Huang, a passionate violin teacher and educator based in the Philippines 🎻. With over 20 years of experience, I’ve had the privilege of nurturing violinists of all ages and skill levels to reach their fullest potential. My academic journey began with a Bachelor of Music degree from St. Scholastica’s College, Manila. I later earned a Master of Music degree in Violin Performance from San Francisco State University, studying under the guidance of the Alexander String Quartet. These experiences have enriched my teaching methodologies, blending traditional and contemporary techniques. Currently, I proudly serve as the Strings Division Chair for the National Music Competition for Young Artists, where I continue to advocate for and mentor young musical talents. My interests span from Suzuki early violin pedagogical training to exploring the integration of music technology in education 🌟. When I’m not teaching or performing, you can find me enjoying live music in Manila or diving into the latest innovations in music education. It’s a joy to see how music connects and inspires us all!
